That's one going from barcode to touchscreen is another even asking workers for a greater commitment is one, there's been ton's of them. My point of the post was to try to get CP to identify what they needed to change and then identify what was keeping that change from happening. If I was coaching you Chris, I would identify what you are doing to keep the ship righten and see which of these we could do a better way or even not do so great can happen.
hope that helps,

I remember you sharing the last statement from Pastor Willie from one of your COTM staff meetings.

True leadership is to change something good and move it to great...That's a very defining comment...It wakes you up and jerks the slack out of you!!!

How many areas not just in ministry but in life am I just trying to get things to okay or good...Doing just enough to keep the ship righted...status quo...then moving on to some other area.

Going back to the purple cow analogy you end up with a beige ministry and a life of neutral colors.

It also takes great faith and confidence to change something good...Also persecution can come from changing something good..instead of purple cows you meddle with some sacred cows..

I can think of a BIG one that you guys did at COTM stopping the bus ministry...Would you have considered that changing something good or perhaps even a whole other level, changing something great and moving it to ________.
