Most Americans take the Bible at face value

The Barna Group released a new study today that says most people take the Bible at face value. Here’s what they said:

Americans may be skeptical about the claims of politicians, but they remain confident that some of the most amazing stories in the Bible can be taken at face value. A new nationwide survey conducted by The Barna Group shows that six well-known Bible stories are accepted as literal truth by an average of two out of three adults.

    this is awesome! i just wrote a report on an article about testing for homosexual dna for a psyche class. i was able to incorperate my biblical viewpoint as truth. it’s amazing that for the most part, even people who have not yet come to Christ are able to discern that the Bible is literal truth. (i have yet to come across anyone who is willing to say the Bible is a lie.) i love being present when the Holy Spirit uses the truth of the Bible to open the eyes of the lost! exciting stuff!
