I hate it with a passion, but I have thrown out so much stuff! Prior to the first move from the east coast, I had to clean out my parents' house - a house that they lived in for over 30 years! After a while I just stopped looking at stuff and examining whether to keep it or not - I just tossed and tossed and tossed until the place looked decent! And there's good news, once you get rid of the clutter and get settled in to the new place, it will feel so much better! Moving all of these times has cured me from being a pack rat (at church too)! And as for the spiritual implications, I wish it were as easy to toss the junk in my life as it is to toss out stuff from my apartment when moving... But each time I move I can't help thinking about how important it is... You'll get through it... Jim,
